Acting and singing – they’re interrelated. This has to be one of the wonderful traits of performance art.

Namrata Shrestha crooned the cover for Bistarai Bistarai (original by Rohit John Chhetri) in her movie Soul Sister. Her voice is damn good; it's soothing and beautiful.
She has sung that song with such an ease and grace. This is one of my favorite songs.

Priyanka Karki has released her cover song Timile Ta Haina (orginal by Bachchu Kailash) today. This song is too good in itself. Her voice sounds good and she has sung it well. Good job. Also, it is better than her earlier song which she sang for her movie Aawaran.
Multi-talented ladies in the industry. Keep going on.
And, oh! Similarities are getting more between Ms. Chopra and Ms. Karki. #Priyanka ;)
P.S. Axata’s (grand-daughter of this song’s lyricist, Kshetra Pratap Adhikari) unplugged cover for this particular song was already loved by many.
In Nepal, very few other names have displayed both the singing and acting talent of theirs. I’ve heard Niruta Singh singing, her voice is nice but she has not sung real good songs. Heard that Rekha Thapa sings as well, so I you-tubed some videos to look for her songs. I found out one where she and Shankar BC had sung a song together; it was not a bit nice. (No offense to anybody)
